The Naches Rangers continue their great season and improve to 9-2
in duals with this defeat of the Bears. The Bears still hold a
7-6 advantage in dual meets between the two schools.
The biggest match of the night was between Kyle Nickerson and Andy Stiles. Nickerson came in ranked #8 in the CWAC and Stiles was ranked #5. Kyle showed just how good he can be with an overtime victory. Other big wins included Jose (Junior) Gonzales over Troy Johnson. Junior continues to impress and beat top quality wrestlers. Ramon DelAngel controlled 5th ranked Chris O'Brine. Ramon can beat just about anybody if he puts his mind to it. Josh Corriell had a tough go with an ever improving Joe Rosenkranz. Josh has put himself in a great position. He just may end up the best 171 pounder in the CWAC this year.
The Bears also suffered some tough losses. Burns lost a 1 point decision and Chapin lost 11-9 to the #10 ranked CWAC wrestler. Hunter and Roos suffered pins to ranked wrestlers. Josh Corke won his 24th consecutive match. Brandon Ashley recorded the shortest match of the night with a 17 second pin.
