The Bears took 3rd at the Grandview tourney scoring 4 champions, 2 runner-ups, 1 third and 3 fourth's. Henry Foss took first for the second straight year and Medical Lake was second.

103 - Brandon Ashley won his first tourney of the year recording two pins and an impressive tech fall in the final. Dustin Hirsch took two losses but gained experience.

119 - Ryan Corke won two hard fought matches, 4-2 and 6-4 to take 4th. Getting tougher each match.

125 - Jerry Haug won 14-8 in the first round and won a close 9-7 match to move into the consolation final, eventually taking 4th.

130 - Ryan Burns pinned teammate Bryce Livesey for the Bears only win at 130.

135 - Junior Gonzalez had an easy 14-3 win in the first round then lost two tough matches. Tommie Lindquist of Quincy defeated him 9-7 and Leon Stafford of Prosser won 9-6.

140 - Justin Corke trailed 6-2 with 35 seconds to go in his title match with Leonard Flores of Prosser. Flores was wrestling cautious and it cost him. Justin threw Flores to his back for a 5 point takedown/nearfall to win the title.

145 - Josh Corke wasted litte time in showing Adam Logozzo of Grandview who was the better wrestler in the title match. Corke recorded 6 takedowns and completely dominated Logozzo from start to finish.

152 - Justin Mack gave a good effort with 2 wins on his way to 4th place.

160 - Justin Rolland pulled off a gutsy performance in the consolation final to win 6-4 for third place. He also recorded a major decision and a pin.

171 - Josh Corriell recorded 2 pins on his way to the finals. Against Josh Smith in the finals, he gave up two stalling points, the second of which was questionable. Smith seemed to be doing his share of stalling as well. Josh wound up losing 6-3.

189 - Hector Gonzalez managed a pin in his one win for the day.

215 - Jose Prado came within one win of a medal but lost his consolation semi.

275 - Ross McDorman recorded two pins and Kevin Hunter had to wrestle the full 6 minutes in his two matches before the finals. In the finals, McDorman got the first takedown and led 2-0 at the end of the first round. Kevin came out like a wild man in the second. Roughing up McDorman in an attempt to turn him. McDorman didn't budge and the score was still 2-0 after 2 periods. Kevin escaped in the third and with just seconds left in the match he put everything he had into one last ditch throw on McDorman. He neary put Ross on his back but settled for the takedown and a 3-2 win.
