Junior Gonzalez

Junior was well on his way to the finals when his march was interrupted by Lance Somers in an OT lose in the semi-finals. Somers was awarded the victory on a penalty point on Junior in the OT period. Junior recorded 1 pin, a tech fall, and a major decision among his 4 wins at the tournament. He went into overtime against Andy Karuza of Meridian before he was able to end it with a TD and move into the semi's against Somers. A 3rd place finish is a great way for Junior to end the 2003-04 season. The 2004-05 season looks even better for Junior, who will be on a quest for a state title once again.
